The apt. I have been living in for the past year has electrical issues. I don't have a stove because it was gas and the landlord said it was leaking so istead of fixing it he took it out (this was before I got the place) He said he would put an electric stove in eventually and that has not happened. My real concern is that I dont even think he could put one in because the breaker pops with just a few things running in the kitchen as it is. (i.e. one burner from a double burner plate and the a/c and possibly the fridge) I know there are codes and this place is not up to them but I don't want him to get in trouble I just want them fixed. How much would it cost to have an electrician run a line up for a new stove and fix the mess?
