You can also call the bakery that you got it from and ask if they can make a mini version, as this is becoming popular and most bakeries have no problem doing it for free or very little charge. This is what my fiance and I will be doing since we have fresh fruit filling in our cake, and that probably won't freeze and thaw very well, LOL. You'll be ok no matter what you decide.
